A decades-old leader in the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) industry, Goettl’s High Desert Mechanical provides premium service and installation of heating and cooling systems throughout northern and central Arizona with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. But before we hear what some of our customers have to say, let’s take a journey through time and learn more about the Goettl beginnings.

The Goettl brothers began their adventure in 1926 in Mansfield, Ohio. Several years later, the brothers Adam, John, and Bill moved out west to Phoenix, Arizona, to seek opportunities during the Great Depression. Hence, the Phoenix-based Goettl Air Conditioning was founded and went on to become an internationally known pioneer in the mass production of evaporative coolers and a variety of other innovations in heating and cooling technology. At one time, the Goettl’s held more than 100 patents.

Fast forward to 1987 and a little further north. Adam and Ted, grandsons of Adam Goettl, become founders and co-owners of Goettl’s High Desert Mechanical. Since 1987, they have continued their family tradition of providing and servicing comfort systems in thousands of homes and businesses throughout central and northern Arizona.

Along with a steady diet of custom homes, new builds, remodels, and commercial projects, Goettl’s resume of tract housing developments, especially over the last decade, is noteworthy. In the Verde Valley and Sedona communities, Mountain Gate, Del Webb Cottonwood Ranch, Mesquite Hills, Vineyards at Cottonwood, and Park Place Sedona are but a few of the projects with Goettl’s installations.

We have a long list of complete and ongoing projects in Prescott and the surrounding areas, including Quailwood, Stoneridge, Granville, Proghorn Ranch, The Preserve at Prescott, and Highland Ranch Chino Valley. Top installations in northern Arizona include projects in Flagstaff, the Miramonte Homes projects at Ponderosa Parkway and Timber Sky.
