We’re looking for someone who genuinely likes talking to people. You’ll represent Goettl’s inside assigned home improvement retail locations, starting friendly conversations with homeowners who may need help with their heating, cooling, or plumbing.
This is not a hard-sell role. Nobody is asking you to pressure anyone into buying something on the spot. Your job is to have a good conversation, figure out who actually has a need, and hand them off to a team that will take care of them.
What You’ll Do
- Engage shoppers in a professional, approachable way
- Ask simple questions to identify homeowners with a current or upcoming service need
- Explain Goettl’s services and current offers clearly and accurately
- Capture complete lead information and submit it through the approved process
- Coordinate with the office and CSR team so qualified leads get prompt follow-up
- Maintain a clean, professional presence at your assigned store
- Track your daily conversations, leads generated, and follow-up status
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly and confident, and comfortable starting a conversation with a stranger
- Sales, retail, customer service, canvassing, or lead generation experience is helpful but not required
- Reliable and self-motivated, since you’ll be running your own store day
- Able to explain an offer without sounding pushy
- Organized enough to track leads accurately
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
